I just think velvet looks very pretty on pictures.  Do you agree?

I tie dyed my hair but the effect is not too obvious since my hairdresser didnt follow what I told him.. :( but in these pictures I can finally see a little.  I'm thinking to do it again by myself.  Anyone would like to share your experience with me or give me any tips about doing tie dye on hair??
